Emmanuel Temple Assemblies of God was founded in the year 1981 by Rtd Rev. Dr Dr Duncan Nuakoh, the then Senior Pastor for Emmanuel Assemblies of God – Dadiesoaba, a surburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The members who were present when the church was founded were Seven (7); comprising of three (3) male adults, two (2) females and two (2) children.
Rev. Dr Dr Nuakoh was appointed as the first pastor for the church. He was succeeded by Rev. Sylvester Opoku Aboagye, assisted by Rev. Charles Adomako Frimpong ;-(assistant pastor) were given the leadership role until today.
The current Head Pastor is Rev. Sylvester Opoku Aboagye. The church held its weekly services at Amankwatia L/A School until the completion of the current church auditorium. Our church is located at Dadiesoaba -YF (Stadium), off The Inside road, and shares the same compound with Assemblies of God Basic School and Emmanuel Cooperative Credit Union.
On Sundays, the church holds service for the Prime church, Teens’ church and that of the adult or main church.
