The Media or Audio/Visual Department is committed to cultivating an atmosphere that is glorifying to the Lord.

We seek to use our gifts and talents in helping to usher believers into the presence of God. We partner with the Worship Team in creating an environment that is worshipful and unnoticeably seamless in our presentation and production.

The Media ministry is one of the young units in the church. The development of technology and its consistent application in our daily lives has made it necessary for its use in the church as well. The media team, another auxiliary group is responsible for running the audio-visual set up before and during church services and events.

They ensure that speakers/preachers promptly have requested bible verses and speaking points available on the screens as they carry on with their messages.

Additionally, they have a responsibility to put together and project weekly announcements/information on the screen during the designated period every Sunday.

The team also takes pictures and video footage during church service every Sunday for streaming on Facebook, and the church website. A subset of the media team is also responsible for updating and maintaining the church website in collaboration with the church administration.

Media plays a crucial role in connecting people with Jesus. It creates an atmosphere of worship for all those who join us, and it allows us to reach around the world with the message of Jesus’ love.

The activities of the department

The works of the unit has indeed improved service and worship in the church. For instance the projection of lyrics during song ministrations makes visitors and even members participate fully and enjoy the service much better.

Also during large congregation services, members seated outside the auditorium are able to partake much better in the sermons as a result of video projection made available to them on giant screens and television sets mounted outside.

Activities include

• Audio recording
• Video coverage

Our Goal

The goal of the unit is to evangelize and propagate the gospel through visual and audio means. We are saved to serve; and we aim at serving to save others by Sharing Jesus through Media.

Projection

It is the desire of the unit to have greater impact on society through evangelism, hence the aspiration of hosting big outdoor audio-visual evangelism programmes in the near future. The division also seeks to acquire much better and sophisticated equipment that will provide an output of greater quality in the near future.

It takes an entire team to produce our Sunday and Tuesday services – from camera operators to lighting and audio specialists to producers who help pull the various elements together. Serving behind the scenes, this team works hard to seamlessly pull the service elements together and eliminate distractions for those who join us.

We do this in various ways, such as through social media, video testimonies and project highlights, Blog and photography. Everything you see, hear and feel work together to tell a story
