Worship is a core element of the Christian life, and music plays an important role in how we express our worship to God.

The mission of music ministry is to provide an opportunity for all individuals to express their love for Jesus Christ through their musical talents. This unique combination of preaching the Christian faith through music is brought to fruition by bringing the message of Christ to the less privileged of the Christian community.

Moreover, the Emmanuel Temple AG choir which is known as “Glorious Choir” maintains its Spirit-filled approach to worship and continues to raise standards in the quality of worship.

The Emmanuel Worship Ministry exists to declare who our God is and what He has done. We believe that worshiping Jesus in a corporate setting and leading others to do the same is an essential part of being transformed into the image of Christ. As we worship Jesus, our mind is renewed and we begin to see our world in light of who Jesus is.

The worship ministries are active throughout the year and encompass a wide variety of fields and disciplines. While each campus or auxiliary has a unique sound with which they express themselves musically, our church mainly plays modern contemporary songs with a mix of traditional occasionally mixed in. 

During church services, Our worship team leads us into God’s presence where we praise Him for His mighty works. While some hearts overflow with exuberant rejoicing, others stand in awe and reverence. You may see uplifted hands, clapping, and spontaneous prayer or praise.

We have five auxiliaries groups under the Music Ministry, namely:
Angelic Choir, Glorious Choir, Worshippers, Harmonious Choir and Men’s Choir

Angelic Choir

An auxiliary of the music ministry in charge of First (English) service ministration.

Harmonic Choir

Teen’s Choir Auxiliary

An auxiliary of the music ministry made up of teens and youth. This choir does not minister or fellowship with the adult church… They minister every Sunday at the Teens’ Church.

Worshippers

Music auxiliary in charge of Second (Twi) service praises, song ministration and worship.

Men’s Choir

Men’s Choir Auxiliary – The men’s choir is the youngest auxiliary in the music ministry. It comprises of only men as the name suggests. We can boast of ourselves as the only church under Assemblies of God, Ghana to have a men’s choir.

Glorious Choir

The Choral auxiliary of the Music ministry. They usually minister during the second service.
