Pastor Michael Atta-Fosu was born on the 20th of November,1989 and has been a member of the Assemblies of God Church, Emmanuel Temple from birth. As a young boy in the Church, he joined the Royal Rangers and also the youth music group called Harmonics, where he served as an instrumentalist and a singer. Even though a Church boy, Pastor Michael recalls his personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ during his secondary school days on the T.I.Ahmadiyya S.H.S campus, Kumasi, when he was introduced to the Lord’s scripture Union by some of the seniors in his dormitory. It was during that time that he began to take his personal relationship with the Lord Jesus very seriously. He was later appointed as the President of the scripture Union.
After his Secondary school education, he proceeded to the University of Cape Coast to study B.A(Arts). He joined the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry (AGCM) and the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES). Because of his activeness and hardworking in GHAFES, he was elected as the main organizer of the group. Whilst serving on campus, he doubled as the organizer in the local Church’s Christ Ambassadors(C.A’S). He later enrolled in the Sunyani Technical University to study Marketing.
As a young man who believes in commitment in serving the Lord, he joined the AGCM on the campus and later became the Music Director and Vice President. He sensed the call of the Lord upon his life during his tertiary education period, and was called upon by the Retired Rev.Dr.Duncan Nuakoh, who realized the call, and enrolled him into the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) Saltpond, in the year 2017-2018 and has been serving the Church till date as the Youth Pastor.
Pastor Michael believes that nobody is beyond the salvation, deliverance and the Miracles of God. God can do all things!
